What are some of the most common types of plants and animals found in African Elephant ecosystems?

That is a big question. African elephants are found in 37 countries across the African continent, living in a variety of habitats from deserts to rainforests to swamps. Because of this many different types of plants and animals can be found in their ecosystems from grasses to large acacia trees.

Insects such as termites and dung beetles, predators like lions and hyenas, and herbivores such as antelope, rhino, and hippos all share their habitat. Birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish can also be found in the same ecosystems as elephants.
